Alas, some answers! (22 April)

Tuesday rolls around. I'm ready for the second colonoscopy in 11 days... oh boy... I just want it to be over - so I can eat. I had that damn Trilyte again - nearly blew chunks, again! Yeah, it's tolerable, but I can think of better things to drink.

I had a list of questions for Blinkoff. I was ready. No big deal. Some of that milky stuff to knock me out... the day wouldn't be a total waste... or would it? No anesthesiologists? Huh? The regular anesthetic? Oh man!

Okay, so I get in the "procedure" room and see Dr. Blinkoff. Okay, what's the scoop, man!?

CEA blood test shows no markers for cancer - that means it hasn't spread. CT scan confirms this... but... {uh, but? What do you mean, but? There's no buts!} Yeah, a spot on my liver... probably nothing. But now I have to have an MRI to rule anything out... Sheesh! Okay, surgery... when do you think that'll be? Oh, next week, more than likely. Damn! This Blinkoff is getting things done, isn't he? Makes me wonder...

That's it, end of discussion, nighty-night! Time for the butt scope!

I wake up... I think, can't quite remember. I have no idea how I got my clothes on... I do remember farting right away and joking about how I didn't have to have Deb wait an hour, or something like that... I was still in my gown when I popped one off. What did I care? I was full of knock out juice. Kind of reminds me of when I had a lot of whisky at Uncle Jim's wake (500 ml, or so) and staggering out of a McDonald's somewhere in the Norfolk (or was it Cambridgeshire?) countryside. Trying to find the car... with my fly down! Of course, I don't remember much of that either...

The rest of the day is kind of hit & miss with my memory. Deb was able to mess with my head... I think...

So, here it is now Thursday night. I had the MRI today. I'll find out tomorrow - more answers, I hope...

More posting tomorrow. It's late. I need some sleep. I have had nothing but restless nights since all this dropped on me.
